On the first good weather day on or after August 1st, 2011, we will set off on the 6,000+ mile boating adventure called The Great Loop. This trip will take us from Mackinaw City, down the length of Lake Michigan, and into the Chicago shipping canal. From there, we'll travel parts of the Mississippi, Ohio, and Tennessee Rivers, eventually entering the Gulf of Mexico at Mobile, Alabama.
